With over 15 years of experience working at Baxter & Associates, our Team Manager Scott, is a fully Licensed Administration Assistant and is definitely the “go to” person in the office.  Scott has the ability to multi-task to ensure he supports Don with client appointments, attends all the product sponsor meetings for clarification on any product changes and business processes while maintaining good relationships with all clients by always being on hand to help with any questions, should they call.  His licenses include Series 24, 7, 66 and Life and health.

 

After Scott graduated from Kansas State University, his interest in the finance industry began, when he joined Silver Lake Bank in Topeka, KS.  He quickly realized his passion was helping people with their finances and creating realistic financial goals for his clients.  The vital financial knowledge and skillset, he learned at the bank is very helpful in this role today.

 

Since then, Scott’s career developed into a Financial Advisor for Waddell & Reed, a Municipal Bond broker for Davidson Securities and a Financial Representative for Members Financial Services.

 

He has tax experience as a tax preparer for H & R Block and a customer support and software tester for CCH Tax and Accounting. The tax knowledge that he gained working at these two jobs has been invaluable to him at his current job.

 

In January 2020 Sagepoint announced the new Advisory Administrative Board created as a platform for staff and administrators to collaborate and share best practices.  We are very proud to have our Team Manager, Scott, selected to be on the board where he can continue to elevate our services and provide excellence when serving our clients.

 

If you are wondering what he likes to do in his spare time, well you can find Scott either hunting, playing golf, cooking or watching sports on the weekend.  He’s a major K-State fan!
